How do I download an Instagram Reel?
Open the Reel in the Instagram app, tap the paper plane icon and pick Copy link. Paste it into the box above and press Download. The Reel saves as a vertical MP4 with its audio, at the best quality Instagram has. It works the same from the Reels tab, a profile grid or a link someone sent you in a DM.
How do I save a Reel to my iPhone camera roll?
Download it in Safari, and the MP4 lands in the Files app under Downloads. Open it, tap the Share button and choose Save Video. It then sits in Photos like anything you filmed yourself. On Android, the file goes to Downloads and your gallery usually picks it up without any extra steps.
The iPhone Photos guide shows each tap.
Can I save only the audio from a Reel?
Yes. Switch the selector to Audio before you press Download, and you get the Reel's sound as an MP3, or as M4A, WAV, FLAC or Opus if you prefer. That's useful for a voiceover or a sound you want to reuse in your own edit. If the Reel uses a licensed song, the artist's rights still apply.
Is the Reels downloader free?
Yes, for your first 3 downloads. Make a free account with an email and password and you get 3 downloads to try it. After that, A Little More is $2.50 for 20 downloads, paid once. Pro is $5.99 a month for unlimited downloads, or $14 a quarter, or $45 a year. If a download fails, it doesn't use a credit.
We build your file on our server and delete it 15 minutes after it's ready. Your account history keeps the link, the title and the format you picked, and you can clear it whenever you like. There's no app to install: it all runs in the browser on iPhone, Android, Mac and PC.
