About VidMagpie

VidMagpie saves videos, audio and transcripts from a link. Paste it, pick a format, download.

What it does

Paste a link to a public video from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Vimeo, Twitch clips, Pinterest, Dailymotion, SoundCloud, LinkedIn or many other sites. Then choose what you want:

• Video as MP4, WebM, MOV or MKV, up to 1080p where the source has it.
• Audio as MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC or Opus.
• Transcript as TXT, SRT or VTT. We use the video's own captions when it has them. When it doesn't, our speech-to-text writes one. Automatic transcripts are good on clear speech but they make mistakes, so check them before you rely on them.

How we work

There's no app to install. It runs in the browser on iPhone, Android, Mac and PC. We never add a watermark. Files are made on our server and deleted 15 minutes after they're ready. Your account history keeps only the link, title and format, and you can clear it.

What it costs

A free account comes with 3 downloads. A Little More is $2.50 for 20 downloads, paid once. Pro is $5.99 a month for unlimited downloads, or $14 a quarter, or $45 a year. A download that fails doesn't use a credit.

What we don't do
