How do I convert SoundCloud to MP3?
Open the track, tap Share and choose Copy link, or copy the address bar on a computer. Paste the link into the box above and press Download. The selector is already on Audio and MP3, so you get an MP3 of the track straight away. It works for public tracks, including long DJ mixes up to 3 hours.
Will the MP3 sound as good as SoundCloud?
It sounds the same as the stream SoundCloud plays, because that stream is what we convert. A bigger file or a lossless format can't add quality the stream doesn't have. If the artist offers a free download of the original on their track page, that version will usually sound better than any converted copy, so check for it first.
Which SoundCloud tracks won't download?
Private tracks, anything that needs a login, and tracks that only play in full for Go+ subscribers won't work. If a track plays all the way through for someone who isn't logged in, it should download. A failed attempt never uses a credit, so you lose nothing by trying a link before you go looking for another copy.
