We respect creators' rights and act quickly on valid reports.

How the service works

VidMagpie doesn't host a library of videos. Users paste links to public videos, we make the file they asked for, and delete it from our server 15 minutes after it's ready. We don't download private content, content behind a login, or anything protected by DRM. Our terms require users to only download content they have the right to.

Reporting a problem

If you own the rights to content and believe our service is being used to infringe them, email hello@vidmagpie.com with:

1. Your name and contact details, and who you represent if you're acting for someone else.
2. The work you own, with a link to it if possible.
3. The link or links you want us to block.
4. A statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised by you, your agent or the law.
5. A statement that the information is accurate and that you're the owner or authorised to act for them.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

We review every complete report. If it's valid, we block the reported links from being processed. Accounts that repeatedly misuse the service may be closed.

If you think a block is a mistake

Email the same address explaining why, with the link concerned. We'll look at it again.
