How do I download a video from LinkedIn?
Tap the three dots at the top of the post and choose Copy link to post. Paste the link into the box above and press Download. You get an MP4 of the video in the post, at the best quality LinkedIn serves. It only works for posts that can be seen without logging in, such as public posts from people and company pages.
Can I get a transcript of a LinkedIn video?
Yes. Switch the selector to Transcript before you download. If the video has captions, we use them. If not, our speech-to-text writes one from the audio, for videos up to an hour. It's a fast way to pull notes from a webinar or quote a talk, though you should check names and figures against the video first.
Why won't a LinkedIn video download?
Most often the post is only visible to logged-in members or to someone's connections. We can't sign in to LinkedIn, so those posts won't work, and neither will LinkedIn Live broadcasts or LinkedIn Learning courses. If the post opens in a private browser window without asking you to log in, it should download fine.
Is the LinkedIn video downloader free?
Yes, for your first 3 downloads. Make a free account with an email and password and you get 3 downloads to try it. After that, A Little More is $2.50 for 20 downloads, paid once. Pro is $5.99 a month for unlimited downloads, or $14 a quarter, or $45 a year. If a download fails, it doesn't use a credit.
We build your file on our server and delete it 15 minutes after it's ready. Your account history keeps the link, the title and the format you picked, and you can clear it whenever you like. There's no app to install: it all runs in the browser on iPhone, Android, Mac and PC.
