Terms of use
The short version: use VidMagpie for content you're allowed to download, and don't abuse the service.
Using the service
VidMagpie lets you save public videos, audio and transcripts from links you provide. By using it, you agree to these terms.
Your responsibility
- Only download content you own, have permission to use, or are otherwise allowed to copy where you live.
- Don't use the service to infringe copyright, get around DRM, or download private content.
- Respect the creators whose work you save. Credit them, and ask before reposting.
Accounts
You need an account to download. Keep your password safe. One account per person. We may suspend accounts used for abuse, automated scraping or repeated infringement.
Plans and payments
- Free accounts include 3 downloads.
- A Little More is $2.50 for 20 downloads, paid once. You can also take it as a subscription: $6 a quarter for 60 downloads or $19.50 a year for 240, renewing until you cancel. Downloads from a subscription period don't expire when the next one starts.
- Pro is $5.99 a month, $14 a quarter or $45 a year for unlimited downloads, renewing until you cancel. Cancel any time and you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
- Deleting your account cancels any subscription straight away. Unused downloads and the rest of a paid period are not refunded.
- A download that fails doesn't use a credit.
What we can't promise
Sites change how they work, and some videos won't be downloadable. Quality depends on the source, up to 1080p. Automatic transcripts may contain mistakes. We provide the service as it is and aren't liable for how you use downloaded content.
Fair use of unlimited
Pro is for personal use. Running automated or bulk jobs that put a heavy load on the service may get rate-limited.
Changes
