How do I download a Twitch clip?
Open the clip, click Share and copy the link. Paste it into the box above and press Download, and you get an MP4 of the clip at the quality it was captured in, up to 1080p. It works the same in a phone browser, so you can grab a clip on the sofa and post it from your phone a minute later.
Can I download a live Twitch stream?
No. Live streams don't work, because there's no finished file to fetch while the broadcast is running. Clips are what we've tested and what works reliably. If you want to keep a moment from a stream, make a clip of it on Twitch first, then paste the clip's link here and download it as an MP4.
What can I do with a downloaded clip?
Streamers cut clips into highlight reels and post them as Shorts, TikToks or Reels. Editors drop them into longer YouTube videos, and viewers keep funny moments before they get buried. The MP4 opens in CapCut, Premiere and DaVinci Resolve without converting. If the clip isn't from your own channel, check with the streamer before you repost it.
Is the Twitch clip downloader free?
Yes, for your first 3 downloads. Make a free account with an email and password and you get 3 downloads to try it. After that, A Little More is $2.50 for 20 downloads, paid once. Pro is $5.99 a month for unlimited downloads, or $14 a quarter, or $45 a year. If a download fails, it doesn't use a credit.
We build your file on our server and delete it 15 minutes after it's ready. Your account history keeps the link, the title and the format you picked, and you can clear it whenever you like. There's no app to install: it all runs in the browser on iPhone, Android, Mac and PC.
